Who he was? Tupaia was a star navigator and a Warrior, he was a translator so he could understand English and Maori he was a very brave person.

why did Captain Cook take Tupaia? he took him because so Tupaia be the translator and star navigator and help him through the journey.

where he came from? He was a Tahitian.

what was he well known for? Star Navigator Warrior.

why was he in Aotearoa (New Zealand,)? He was in New Zealand because he was Captain Cook  to visit and translate.

what happened to Tupaia? Tupaia passed in New Zealand because Malaria and never made in back home from where he came from.
